Our Château and adjoining Stud is situated in the south west of France in the beautiful wine growing region of the Medoc. This area enjoys the benefits of a microclimate created by the Gironde peninsula which extends for almost 60 miles between the Atlantic Ocean and the Bordeaux estuary. Steeped in history this area creates the perfect atmosphere for continuance of this rare Spanish breed.
Our only broodmare, Melosa XIII, is the produce of a long and severe selection started by the carthusian monchs and continued by Romero Benitez and Don Francisco Lopez Martin de Vargas.

Our mission consists in breeding the best P.R.E. ( Purebred Spanish Horses) for the classical dressage, coming from the two main carthusian bloodlines: Los Zapatas and Los Romanitos, guarantee for the purity of the breed which was protected by the carthusian monchs at Jerez de la Frontera over centuries.

We are members of the AECE, french association of PRE breeders.

We only sell horses from our own breed.
